2 videos and some creepy crawlers

The lovely miss Mitzi over at http://goodsonfamilyjourney.blogspot.com/ bought her son some adorable little creepy crawler leg covers for when he's crawling and learning to crawl. Yes some of you might call them "leggings" but they're for a boy so I call them the name the are called on Etsy "creepy crawlers". I think they are just about the cutest things ever and they protect his soft sweet baby skin on his legs while he tries to move on carpet. Here are a few pics of him in his awsome crawlers. But before I show you pictures. I have to share what my husband thought of them. I put them on Cooper and came out of his bedroom and said "Hey honey, look how cute they are". He immediately was like "what is this FLASHDANCE" Seriously babe, those are for girls". Meanwhile he's picking up our son and doing the maniac dance with him. I was all defensive. No they aren't they make them for boys too. They're for when they are crawling, they're boyish honey!!! So for my sweet husband when he's reading this, here you go babe. This is for you and for anyone interested in watching a good movie montage moment. Pictures and a homevideo below. Don't miss them!!!

And here are the pics of his "creepy crawlers". So cute! Its like he has little spider legs. (Although I'm terrified of spiders, I think these little spider legs are precious).

So much to talk about.

Photo Sharing - Video Sharing - Photo Printing

First of all thank you everyone who let me know they are followers. I was able to go around and become of follower of all of your blogs as well. =) I am following a ton of blogs. I have a hard time keeping up with the day to day posts as it is. However I absolutely love reading everyones and can't ever pass up a new one. So I will do my best to keep up with you ladies.

I am just now getting to be able to post pics from our night out with friends last Saturday night for our friends birthday. I of course only took one picture of everyone at the table that night. Other than that I forgot to take pics all night long. So I will post those three pisc in just minute. We had so much fun though. Our friends are great. So sweet and funny. We had a blast. The restaurant was really nice. It was called the "Garlic Rose". Its Italian food and they serve a rose made of garlic cloves that have been baked. You use a knife to get the garlic clove out and its so soft you can spread it on your bread like butter. That was neat. Cooper was a Prince all night. He was so good and everyone enjoyed seeing him. He sat and enjoyed watching everyone eat and talk to him all night. He's such a good boy.

Lets see what else do I need to update on??? My husband and I made a decision about childcare for Cooper. It was difficult and depressing but we did it. After going and touring centers, and after calling friends. We decided the best place for him is at the learning center I used to work for. Its the best we saw, I still know most of the teachers, its super clean. They teach and are actually a private School once the kids are in Kindergarten. Even with him being under a year they do age appropriate teaching and developmental activities with the kids. They have a daily schedule, even art project with the babies. I worry about him getting sick. I worry about how expensive it is. Ridiculously expensive, it was the most expensive unfortunately. But its a really good place and its all worth it. He starts a week from Yesterday. I'm so nervous. I cried and hardly slept last week a few nights. I just keep seeing this terrible image of him freaking out all day the first week he is there. Horrible. But I honestly do think he will enjoy it once he gets used to it. I truly think he will love being around other kids. I can't wait to get through those first few weeks. Then hopefully we will all be ok.
Coopers Nana and Aunt who used to watch him will pick him up 2-3 days a week and keep him a few hours for us until we get off of work too. This helps me not to feel like he lives at the daycare. It also gives them time with him each week. They are both heartbroken they can't watch him anymore.

Hmm anything else new this week???
I'm Catholic and had to give something up for lent this year. I chose to give up Pop, which is more difficult than I thought. I also like to give up something every year that is a personal issue that will make me a better person. I like to work on something about myself. Last year it was gossiping. This year I have decided to give up being so critical of others. Holding grudges and not even really noticing, or having a quick temper. Being so sensitive to things people say. These are things I can really work on. Sometimes I swear my hormones get out of control and I let things get to me more than I should. I get so mad at people that I stop talking to them for a day or so while I cool down (this is worst case scenario). Its usually a co-worker. But for the most part I do get along with people. I find myself being so sensitive to things that happen and I take things personally when maybe its not meant to be that big of a deal in the first place. Its not a good way to be and it just makes my day worst. If I have to work and be away from my baby I might as well enjoy my job and the people I'm around. So I'm making a big change in my attitude and the way I take things and my anger when someone isn't pleasant towards me. I've already noticed a huge change in my days just since last week. Hopefully I can make this work always.

About Cooper:
Cooper is still working on learning to sit. He is sitting still quite wobbly but he's getting better. He also keeps trying to pull his knees up when he's laying on his tummy but each time he gets one leg up and under him the other straightens out again. Poor guy just can't get it, even with help he can't get it. In time he will. Right now he keeps trying.
He has been "razzing" for a while now, but just lately he's been really bad when he's eating about just suddenly spitting his bottle and cereal back out and razzing it causing it to fly everywhere. He doesn't laugh but he seems quite amused. It drives my husband and I crazy. Although the first few times we laughed. "Awe how cute, he's so funny, look at his tongue he is spitting it out". YAH HAHA, very funny, now its all over everything AGAIN! No big deal but not so funny anymore. He's really doing it almost every single time he eats now. Just another stage I'm sure. He's still funny, we still laugh all the time, he still LOVES to hear music and to hear me sing, He still loves his bath. He's still our amazing little boy, with his amazing little personality.

I can't begin to tell you how smiley and funny he is. I try to catch it on pictures but sometimes just can't. So I have pics to share of him this week playing. One of daddy and him, one of mommy and him. And then the pictures of our dinner party for Codie's birthday last Saturday night.

Have a good rest of the week ladies.

looking back in time

Do you ever just go back and look at all your posts you've done on your blog? I did that this morning, for the first time in probably a year. I can't hardly believe the road God has sent us on. Its such an amazing journey and just looking back at all my prayers, all my worries. All the moments and how we were feeling on those particular days. Its amazing! I truly cherish this blog for the memories it holds. Its like a book of how we were blessed with our little Cooper and everything that went through my mind in the process.
I can't believe he is already 5 months old. It amazes me what has happened in such a short period of time.
Ha it amazes me how long my hair used to be... I am having "Why did I just chop my hair off again yesterday" regrets. Then I go back to look at all my old blogs and see my super long hair, that didn't help.

Today I have to tell you what I'm doing. I'm excited because although I see my friends all the time. We don't really get that one on one girl time like we used to. So today is my friend Codie's birthday. Me and Shannon and Codie are all going to lunch, then we are taking Codie for a pedicure which of course we will be joining in on. I'm so excited because its a girls day. Although I'll miss my sweet Coopy, I think it will lots of fun. After the Pedi's we will go home and get ready for dinner. We are all (I think 11 or 12 of us) are going to dinner for Codie's bday. Then back to someones house to play games and just hang out. I think it will be lots of fun. I will definitely be posting pics and fun stories of our day tomorrow.
Something sweet you should hear about dinner tonight is...
I told my bf Shannon this past week that I didn't know if we could go to dinner tonight. Cooper has been shuffled around all week since the babysitter situation has been messed up. He had a really hard time Tuesday with a friend of mine. I think it was "stranger anxiety" even though he knows her. Anyways, we didn't want to leave him with someone this weekend. And we didn't think that all the other couples at dinner would want a baby there (none of the other couples have kids yet). So I tell Shannon we may not go. She calls Albert, Codie's husband and tells him that we might not go. Do you know what Albert says to her??? He says to her "what, but I reserved a table for 12 with a highchair". Now I know that this doesn't sound that nice, but this is an adult birthday dinner with no other kids and for him to automatically include Cooper was so sweet to me. We have such great friends. They love Cooper and seem to understand that we hate leaving him when its not necessary since we miss him so much during the week at work.
Anyways I thought that was really a sign of a good friend. So I wanted to share.

I will update all of you on our girls day/birthday dinner tomorrow. Have a great Saturday!!!

And what is a post without great pictures to go along. Here is Cooper this week. He's so absolutely precious to me.

Kristin Cavalarri is wasting away.

Its true, For those of you who were "Laguna beach" fans and are now "Hills" fans. Those of you who love to hate Kristin Cavalarri would be shocked to see what I saw on msn today when I opened my computer up to start work.
A picture of what they said was Kristin. But even I a major fan of the mtv so called "real life" drama didn't even recognize her. She is so wafishly thin its sick. I don't know if the drug accusations are true but whatever it is she did to herself she needs to stop. Although she's always been known for her rude attitude and tell all how it is mouth, she was always a pretty girl. Now I just can't say the same. I can't say that she is pretty in any way. Just look at this picture comparison below. I couldn't get a copy of her in the pink dress from the msn article this morning. Trust me it was way worse. But you can see this article right here....http://www.popoholic.com/2010/01/28/kristin-cavallari-gets-seriously-leggy-and-seriously-skinny/
I was just so blown away by how tiny she was. I mean I'm a tiny girl. I'm petite, I always have been. Minus the last 4-1/2 months. I was chunky in the middle but that is slowly going away:)
Either way its gross to be this skinny, I don't understand why they think they look good.

HAPPY 5 MONTHS COOPY MONSTER!

Yes that's right, you heard correctly. Our little monster is 5 FREAKING MONTHS OLD!!!! Seriously! He is such a sweetie pie, love muffin, cutie boy. He smiles ALL the time. We are loving every minute of him.

Here are some of the things he's doing these days.

-Still chewing on EVERYTHING. However, I realize that he won't grow his little teeth out of those gums for months and months. So he'll just keep on chewing until they decide to move in a few months or more.

-He sort of sat up by himself :) Haha, yes I said sort of. He sits up on the floor in our living room between my legs while I play. My mom said she did this with me and my brothers when she was trying to help us learn to sit. The other day, he was doing so good (leaning on his palms while sitting up) that I scooted back. Julian ran and got the camera. He took These shots. Soon he will be sitting for real all by himself. Look at that big boy!!!

Photo Sharing - Video Sharing - Photo Printing

-He talks all the time and I swear the other night while on my way home from somewhere, En Vogue was on the radio I believe the song is called "hold on" for all you 90's fans out there. The song that says "hold on to your love, you got to hold on, hold on to your love woohooooo" and I am almost positive I heard him singing along. He can carry a tune what can I say:)

-Cooper is more and more alert and smart every single day. He knows his mommy and daddy well. He knows who strangers are, although he's still nice as long as mom or dad are with him. He plays so well with his toys. Not just sits there and looks at them light up.
Cooper reaches and grabs and pulls and pushes things. He pulls the little jiggly bird hanging on his car seat. It pulls down then vibrates up to the top. He loves that thing. Always trying to pull it into his mouth but never can reach. Its so funny.

-Cooper is so personable, flirty and smiley. He has such beautiful dimples and blue eyes that the ladies all say "oh what a flirt, isn't he cute". He has the best personality ever.

Photo Sharing - Video Sharing - Photo Printing

-He sleeps through the night like a champ, thank goodness for his acid reflux meds and cereal in the bottle.

-He weighs somewhere close to 14 LBS and is 25-1/2" long.

-I could probably list forever. But I'll stop.

I'll post some pics. Here are a few from this past week and from Valentines day. He has a little singing Valentines guy in one of the pictures. :)

Happy 5 months my sweet beautiful boy. You are SOOOOO LOVED!
