Christmas is over! It amazes me how fast things fly by. The Case family had a very nice Christmas and I believe that Cooper had a great one as well.
1 week ago we started our Christmas celebration. My dads entire side of the family celebrates by going out to a nice restaurant and having a room all to ourselves. We all dressed up really nice and we had such a great time catching up. It was so much fun. The pictures attached of us all in nice clothes and Cooper in a suit! HA it was awesome. Those are from the family Christmas dinner.
Wednesday night after I got off of work we headed out for the two hour drive to my mom and dads. We also had made plans to pick up my new car! Yes that's right. After my car accident we have been on the phone for the entire past week with a dealership making a deal on a new Nissan Pathfinder. We picked it up on the 23rd. It is BEAUTIFUL!! I'm so excited, this is my first car I've ever bought brand spanking new! Not to mention it has really good crash test rates. I'll add pictures of this in a few days. I don't have any yet. I need to go snap a few.
On Thursday (Christmas eve), We celebrated Christmas with my parents and brothers and there families. It was so much fun. But my poor niece Natalie was sick and not her usual silly fun self. That was sad. But we still had a great Christmas with my parents. Coopers first Christmas was just wonderful.
It started to snow Christmas eve, But not just snow. Ice pellets for hours with a crazy bad wind pushing behind it. We ended up stuck at mom and dads. There was no way we were leaving in that weather. It was treacherous! For Oklahoma, we are not used to that sort of crazy bad, Ice and snow. There were piles of drifts of snow everywhere and by evening all of Oklahoma was covered and the news channels said the mayor had put us in a "state of emergency" because too many people were unsafe and had decided to try to brave the weather. They ended up getting stuck on the highways and the police couldn't even get to them to help them. The military was being sent out in the hummers to save people. It was insane.
Luckily we were smart enough to stay home safe and sound at my parents.
On Christmas we did the same, stayed at mom and dads. We could hardly get out of there driveway! We played games and just spent time together all day long. Yesterday we all packed in our cars and headed home. We are safe and sound back at home now. Whew!
Saturday night we went to my grandma's house for our big Christmas celebration over there. We had another good time there. It was just nice seeing everyone.
Unfortunately all of Julian's family was either unable to get to us or cancelled there plans on Christmas so we still have to get together with all of them. I felt bad for him not seeing any of his family on Christmas, but he was such a sweet hubby and was just concerned with us staying safe.
Oh also my little brother Mark just graduated college last week from OU, It was a great ceremony and we are all so proud of him.
I have to tell you, My brother Mark has started a new nickname for Cooper and sometimes I even find myself saying it, its funny. It is Cooperton! Mark and his girlfriend Lauryn call Cooper that. I think its funny and cute. Good old Cooperton.
Attached are a TON of pictures from all the Christmas celebrations we just had, From Marks graduation.
Sorry I haven't kept up on any blogs lately, this past week I didn't even get on the computer.
I hope all of you had a great Christmas this year.
