I feel bad.

Just a short post to say. That I'm feeling bad lately as a bloggy friend. I realized today just how bad I've gotten at letting my blog go for a few weeks and not reading others for a few weeks. Then I try to play catch up and comment and see how all my friends are and its back to busy every night and day and missing it all. Today my mom (who keeps up on some of the blogs I follow) asked me if I had read two recent posts by two of my longtime blogs that I follow. Of course I was missing from blog world this week so I said, "this week"??? She told me yes and then proceeded to tell me about some bad news on their blogs. At that moment I felt bad. Bad because I didn't see those posts at all and never even was able to leave a nice supportive comment for them. I know that my child and daily life has to come first but I wish I had more time to sit back and see what all my blog friends are doing each day. I do care. More than I probably should. I am a very faithful friend to my friends, so that automatically includes blog buddies. I do want you girls to know, that even if I don't send you a message when you post something important. I do pray each and every day and in my daily prayers I include you girls and your families. I pray that God will except my prayers for those friends of mine that I might have forgotten or was unable to pray for specifically. So if your one of my bloggy buddies that needs those special prayers and support just know I do care. I am thinking of you even if it is a week late.

I will be trying to use this week as yet another catch up week (yes I know broken record).
I will also put up a post about my past week. I am now 26 weeks prego. WOW!
Cooper fell yet again, damn near biting through his lip. I'm a nervous wreck because of this. My sweet angel boy is now 17 months old. I need to do a special post on him. The room is coming together. My best friend is having her baby shower in two weeks (I'm throwing with friends) and there is still so much to be done for that.
Life is great and busy. The weather's been gorg! I hope your all doing good :) Talk to you soon.

Our house

What's been going on at our household. SICKNESS! That's what.
This poor prego mama got the horrible throw up virus that's going around and let me just tell you, It was not fun. It all Started late Tuesday night. It lasted until yesterday when I had to go get help and fluids and some anti nausea meds to stop me from getting sick. Not a fun week for me. Today I'm trying to regain some strength and eat a little and just taking it easy. I have tons of blogs to catch up on and a post about my house I realize I never posted after I said I would weeks ago. A fellow blogger friend asked for some house pics. So I meant to post these weeks ago but I guess now will just have to do. So that's what this is. My house post.

Nothing too exciting though. We live in smaller 1400 sq foot starter home. The house needed new paint in every single room. Every door and floorboard needed to be repainted. The fireplace needed to be spruced up a lot. The whole house was outdated and in need of some style. We got married at the ripe young age of 20 and bought our house 3 months later. We weren't thinking ahead to children or anything really. I had no idea what I wanted out of my home. Now that we've been here 7-1/2 years, wow I can't believe its been that long. We intended on buying a new home before now but with the ivf and other things that came up we ended up staying here. One day we will build our dream home but for now we've made this little place our own. We have all the bedrooms filled now that we have baby number two on the way. I won't be including pics of her room. Not until its done. But I am posting all the rest. Its still a work in progress but here it is....

For starters our entryway..

Our living room. We have made lots of changes in our living room throughout the years. I am finally starting to feel like its coming together. I would love some crown molding along the ceiling in here and a few other things but we put in the wood floors and fixed the fireplace and repainted so its much better than what we started with.

The kitchen, as you can tell the kitchen needs new cabinets, counter tops and the list goes on. We just don't feel that putting more money into this house on these big projects is really worth it. So we will wait for the next house to get the kitchen of my dreams.

Coopy's room

The guest bathroom Aka Hubbies bathroom.

Our bedroom..
Ignore the colorful quilt on our bed, I took these pictures during the snowstorm and it was freezing outside so we had the extra quilt on our bed.

I didn't take any pictures of the master bath or the hallways, I got lazy.

Most of these pictures I took during the day on the snow days a few weeks ago. So the lighting isn't the best. But you get the point. Well welcome to our home. Small but cozy. :)

Week 25

I don't have a lot of time but I wanted to do a quick 25 week post.

I feel great, truly I'm feeling really good. Growing a ton, At least I feel like I am. Not a good thing probably....

We go to the doc on Friday and I will post again after that appointment and give you all an update. But for now a few pics from this week.

Try to ignore my get up. Its a snowy mess outside and I had to go to work today so I wore the trusty old snow boots. :)

We had a busy week doing things in the house during our snow storm. Hopefully its over with for now. But they are saying more this week :(

What a week!
For starters, We had a family date night Friday night and we took Cooper to Incredible Pizza for dinner. He's still a little too young for this place but he seemed to have fun :)

Second, our sweet baby boy took a little fall in the living room this past Saturday morning and hit his eyebrow bone on our coffee table. This resulted in stitches :( Not a fun morning in my opinion. He did such a good job though.
I'll tell you all the story since I know your dying to hear it all.
Basically Cooper was eating some breakfast with me as I sat on the couch he stood before me. He was leaning on my leg and lost his footing and went flying face first into the coffee table. It sounded bad but when I picked him up it wasn't a goose egg, and all I saw was a small scratch on his eyebrow. I carried him to our kitchen to get a better look and by the time I got in there his eye was gushing blood. My husband had just left to run an errand so I ran back to our bedroom with Cooper to get my cell phone and called him quickly telling him to come home. I knew Cooper needed stitches, The cut looked incredibly deep. Luckily Julian was very close by and was in the door before I could get my bra and shoes on. I was still in my pajamas and so was Coop but we ran out the door looking like that.
We took him to the after hours pediatric emergency center. We called while we were on our way. They got us in pretty quickly and by the time we were back in the room Cooper was acting completely normal. He was smiling and laughing and saying hi to all the nurses and he was flirting and being so sweet. The nurse had to numb the area and she was talking to Cooper and he was just talking back and smiling and as she got closer with the cotton swab that had the numbing cream on it he stopped talking looked at her really concerned like and said "UHOH" so seriously. Like he knew it might hurt or something. It was so funny.
The nurse busted out laughing. She said "your my favorite" to him.:) He did great, the whole thing went well. He cried while getting the stitches but other than that he was so happy. It absolutely breaks my heart that my little 16 month old had to get stitches already. We are already researching a new leather soft edged coffee table. I love our wooden one but with another baby on the way, chances are too high that there could be other accidents. So we are getting rid of ours.

The rest of the weekend we stayed in and rested and we took some walks because it was gorgeous outside. 70 degrees. It was amazing.

However last night a storm rolled through and slammed my hometown. The worst snow storm in like 20 years. For some of you ladies who live in states where large snow is normal, this will seem like nothing to you. But for us Okies this is craziness. We got about 16-20 inches of snow. We can't leave our house, people are stranded all over the place in large four wheel drive vehicles. We are not equipped or ready for this type of weather here. Its going to take days for this to get clear enough for us to drive. Luckily my boss called and canceled work for tomorrow already.

I leave you with some some pics of the snow and other random shots I got this past week.
Also I had to take some pics of my house for a friend. I thought I might share some of them on here. I don't think I have ever really shared pictures of some of the rooms in our house. This will be fun. Now warning, my house is older, was COMPLETELY outdated when we moved in and needed new everything. The kitchen is still outdated but other than that and the bathrooms the rest of the house we did so much to.

I'll try to find some before and after shots and I will post them tomorrow.

Have a nice evening girls.
