My parents were on there way home from my cousin's graduation today and they drove through the town we live in on there way back to there house (2 hours away). They stopped in for some dinner and a visit with Cooper and I. Julian had to work tonight, but Cooper and I and mom and dad and a friend of mine went and got something to eat. Before we left my mom and dad had Cooper laughing really hard. It was so cute, so I grabbed my video camera. I only caught the very end of it but here it is :)

My husband has a blog.
OK so this may be a strange thing to post about but I think its time.
My husband is what I would consider a very funny dry sense of humor kind of guy. He gets just about every person he meets laughing but not in some comedian sort of way. Just speaking his mind and not even trying.
Some months back, he asked me if it would be weird of him to start a blog??? A blog about nothing. Sort of like Seinfeld in blog form. He said he has topics daily, just random things he wants to talk about (usually funny ones to top it off). And his friends are always telling him that the things he talks about and say are so funny and that he should be a late night guy or something like that. So I of course told him to do it. Not because of readers, and not for anyone else but himself. Well he did it and yes its a guys blog, with random crap and all. Its actually called "Random crap blog"! And yes I know I'm biased because I'm married to the man but I seriously think he's hilarious. He's such a good writer. So I just thought I might mention it to you ladies to go check it out, read a post. Leave a comment if you want. Also any of you who know a man that enjoys a good read they could also pop on over and check it out. I bet you money you'll catch yourself laughing.
Check it out...http://caserandomcrap.blogspot.com/
Apparently my URL link attachment thing isn't working, I'm trying to figure out why. So if you try the link and it doesn't work than just go type in the blog url. Its caserandomcrap.blogspot.com

Mutant giant rat!
So just for fun I wanted to leave this post. Only because some of you might have noticed this if you had been paying close attention to the pictures in my last post.
There is a picture of my mom going down the slide with Cooper. In this picture it appears that there is some sort of mutant giant rat running underneath the slide. I noticed this just in passing yesterday and Immediately sent my mom and husband an email. We were all at work.
In the email I told them that I wasn't sure but that it looked like something really creepy and gross was running under the slide at the exact time of the picture. YIKES!
My mom sends me an email back that says that she too agrees that there is some sort of Alien like mutant rat under the slide. My husband sends us both an email laughing and telling us that its the weed block from under the mulch on the playground set that is coming up in the wind. He reverts us both back to a previous picture higher up on this post showing Cooper and him coming down the same slide with a piece of weed block under the slide. My mom and I both with the help of a handful of employee's at our companies researched and looked over both pictures. Both of us concurring that this was most definitely a huge rat. HAHA! It was so hilarious going back and forth, I have co-workers in my office studying the picture, she has co-workers studying both of us had our bosses look it over and we were baffled. Only a select few saw that it could resemble the weed block. So for fun I thought I would bring it up to you and let you look at it. Its a pretty creepy pic of weed block I must say :) Go check it out. Freaks me out. Even if it is plastic. My mom concluded with an emailing agreeing with Julian that basically told him that although she doesn't think that the mutant rat whatsoever resembles a piece of weed block she agrees that most likely it was a weird angle that just so happened to catch the block in some sort of weird state making it out out to look like some giant animal under the slide. PRICELESS. I cracked up.
Go check it out, tell me what you think. Its on my last post.

Great Weekend
We had a great weekend. Friday night we went to dinner with some friends. Always fun! When we got home from dinner, My best friend and her husband came over for a little while. Guess what happened!!!! COOPER CRAWLED. For real crawled, not a scoot to the toy he wanted. I was so proud and excited for him. However he didn't do it again this weekend. Today he did it once at his Mimi's house. :) But he'll get the hang of it more often now that he's figured it out I'm sure.
Saturday, I played clean up for the earlier part of the day and then Saturday evening we went to another friends house. He was having a cook out. We had a good time and Cooper of course was just loved on by everyone.
Sunday we got up and went to church. Cooper has sat through church twice now without us having to take him out to go to the cry room because he's being too noisy. He's been doing so good lately. Especially since he's a little chatty Cathy. The boy rambles on and on. Its so cute.
After church we had to hurry over to one of my husbands co-workers houses because their little girl was having her second birthday and we were invited.
We had been to this guys house a few times and I know his wife (we get together with them for dinner sometimes). However even though we are friends we don't go over their house often.
LET ME SET THE STAGE: We get there a little after 2:00. About 10 minutes late for the party. We show up and I comment on how there aren't many cars parked out front of the house. Julian says to me "hmmm yah I would have thought more people would be here". So we get Coop out and proceed to walk to the door. I even say while walking to the door "are you sure the party was at their house"? We walk up to the door and see that the the main door is open and the storm door is closed. There are streamers hanging from the fireplace "whew ok its here"... We see people inside so we knocked softly and chose to let ourselves in (I never ever do this but here we are walking into a party late. We didn't want to interrupt by ringing the doorbell and barrelling in). We walk in and see two women standing there staring at us. I say hi! Then luckily the owner of the house Sheila comes in the back door with the birthday girl Hayden from the backyard. Whew! Thank goodness we saw them. I was feeling strange the way those ladies were staring at us.
We went over to say hi to Hayden and took her birthday gift over to where all the others were at. My husband is standing talking to Sheila and I over hear her saying "Yah Jerrod just left for work"??? (That's her husband). As she says this I'm setting the gift down and thinking "Hmmm that's strange, why would he plan his daughter's 2nd b-day party for when he's at work"? Then I notice!! DUN DUN DUN!!! All the gifts had been opened. The gift bags surrounding mine had no tissue paper in them. I slowly looked around like I was in the twilight zone and smiled at Sheila and said "Oh my gosh, so did we miss the party"? Hahah! The embarrassment started to saturate me. Oh my GOSH!! We totally just walked right into to these peoples house, walked right in like we owned the place and your not even going to believe this. The party was actually at 11:00. We were 3 whole hours late.
For whatever reason I had in my head that the party was at 2:00. I mean its a Sunday! Nope 11:00. Luckily Sheila laughed at us and forced us to eat cake before we walked out in shame and embarrassment.
You should have been there, I felt like we were in some sort of Monday night 30 minute family comedy weekly show or something. Like we walked into everybody loves Raymond. This is so not what happens to us.
I think its hilarious now but still get that OOPSY feeling in my tummy when I imagine seeing them again. Haha. Oh well. Makes for a good story. I bet those two women at her house thought we were crazy when we just moseyed on in:). Apparently it was her mom and mother in law. FABULOUS!
That's the fun story I have for all of you today. Hope you enjoyed.
Oh and of course some pictures from this week as well. How could I not?
Little baby Hef! Oh just look how cute you are.

Someone managed to scoot right under the couch. "Um Sir??? Sir? Could you help me please"? :)

7 months old
My sweet baby boy is already 7 months old April 16th! Its hard to believe, he's past the 6 month mark. I'm happy and excited to see what comes next but I'm sad to leave behind that tiny baby he once was.
Cooper has truly grown to be such a wonderful, happy, fun to be around little baby. He is always smiling, brightening people's days. I haven't come across one person who didn't say to me "wow he's just so happy) :)
He is doing so many new things these days. Just in the past month he has really started to move around more. I wouldn't say crawl really. More like he gets on his knees and hands and rocks forward like he's going to speed crawl and then he never actually moves. He also gets on his hands and pushes off of his knees onto his feet and he tries to move that way. He's using his hands well while in the crawling position. He can reach for objects without falling over or anything sit there on one hand and two knee's. I truly think he will master the crawl very soon.
Cooper rolls to get where he wants to be. He plays so well, he usually enjoys to bang one toy into another. That most definitely interests him the most :)
He tried to pull up onto our coffee table last night and the hubs and I just sat there in shock not wanting to distract him so we could see if he could do it. He would almost get pulled to standing and he would lean back and fall. But he could pull to his knees only using the table to hold him up. I can't believe that in the coming months he will be learning to crawl well, to pull up, to cruise, to walk. Oh my goodness the things he will learn.
Cooper loves to feel our faces. He is always wanting to touch and he is quite the cuddler. Not afraid to love on us when he wants to take a break from playing. He's just slightly spoiled :) He loves to be with his mommy and daddy.
Julian thought he heard him say "good" today. HAHA, I cracked up. Good huh? That's an interesting first word. I didn't hear it so I can't say weather this happened or not. But I did hear him say mama a couple weeks ago and I am almost positive he was truly saying it.
Cooper is our absolute life and everything to us! He is the most amazing blessing from God and I am truly prayerful and thankful to the lord each day for giving us such an amazing beautiful life in our own lives.
Cooper,
Mommy and daddy love you more than I knew love was. You are our heart and soul and we have the most amazing time just watching you and seeing the new and old things you do. We never get bored of you. You surprise us daily with all your new tricks. Your big round blue eyes are the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life. The smile you get when I walk in the room, or when you turn and see daddy's face is gorgeous. You love us and we love you. You are our Coopy!
Happy 7 months sweet baby!
Love mommy
God,
I can't thank you enough for this gift of life. For my own, yes. But for blessing my life with the life of my son. He is truly my everything. You knew all along that I was destined to be a mom. When I worried about being infertile, when I cried because I had a miscarriage, or failed attempts. You always knew that you had something special in store for us. September 16th 2009 you brought that gift that you worked so hard on to us. And forever my life has changed. Thank you God. You amaze me! Please keep my sweet family and friends safe from harm, alive and well. Thank you again for the gifts and support you always bring to us.
Amen.
These are just a few pics of Cooper I took the past few evenings when we were just playing at home.
He is super tired in a few of them. Check out those ready sleepy eyes. But he's like the energizer bunny, he goes and goes and goes until he just can't go any longer.
Ha this is his "Raz" face. He does that a lot!
I am also attaching some pictures of a get together at a friend of mines house this past week. We had so much fun.

- Meant to be a mom
- My name is Melissa, My hubby's name is Julian and we have two sweet babies. Our sweet baby boy Cooper. Well I call him a baby boy, he's not quite a baby anymore. We also have a new addition to our family. Blakely is our precious daughter. We are so truly blessed by out two amazing children. My husband and I got married in June of 2003. He is the most amazing supportive and understanding man. I am lucky to be married to such a wonderful man. I was diagnosed with PCOS. I don't ovulate very often. After years of trying, countless IUI'S and a miscarriage we turned to IVF with hopes that God would give us an angel baby to bless our lives. I started to blog to talk with other women who were struggling with infertility. To be able to vent my feelings and have support. Now I enjoy adding in all kinds of great things about my son and his life. We plan on trying to have more children in the future and doing IVF again if need be. But until then we are having the time of our lives enjoying our two little munchkins. GOD IS GOOD!
