Christmas is over! It amazes me how fast things fly by. The Case family had a very nice Christmas and I believe that Cooper had a great one as well.
1 week ago we started our Christmas celebration. My dads entire side of the family celebrates by going out to a nice restaurant and having a room all to ourselves. We all dressed up really nice and we had such a great time catching up. It was so much fun. The pictures attached of us all in nice clothes and Cooper in a suit! HA it was awesome. Those are from the family Christmas dinner.
Wednesday night after I got off of work we headed out for the two hour drive to my mom and dads. We also had made plans to pick up my new car! Yes that's right. After my car accident we have been on the phone for the entire past week with a dealership making a deal on a new Nissan Pathfinder. We picked it up on the 23rd. It is BEAUTIFUL!! I'm so excited, this is my first car I've ever bought brand spanking new! Not to mention it has really good crash test rates. I'll add pictures of this in a few days. I don't have any yet. I need to go snap a few.
On Thursday (Christmas eve), We celebrated Christmas with my parents and brothers and there families. It was so much fun. But my poor niece Natalie was sick and not her usual silly fun self. That was sad. But we still had a great Christmas with my parents. Coopers first Christmas was just wonderful.
It started to snow Christmas eve, But not just snow. Ice pellets for hours with a crazy bad wind pushing behind it. We ended up stuck at mom and dads. There was no way we were leaving in that weather. It was treacherous! For Oklahoma, we are not used to that sort of crazy bad, Ice and snow. There were piles of drifts of snow everywhere and by evening all of Oklahoma was covered and the news channels said the mayor had put us in a "state of emergency" because too many people were unsafe and had decided to try to brave the weather. They ended up getting stuck on the highways and the police couldn't even get to them to help them. The military was being sent out in the hummers to save people. It was insane.
Luckily we were smart enough to stay home safe and sound at my parents.
On Christmas we did the same, stayed at mom and dads. We could hardly get out of there driveway! We played games and just spent time together all day long. Yesterday we all packed in our cars and headed home. We are safe and sound back at home now. Whew!
Saturday night we went to my grandma's house for our big Christmas celebration over there. We had another good time there. It was just nice seeing everyone.
Unfortunately all of Julian's family was either unable to get to us or cancelled there plans on Christmas so we still have to get together with all of them. I felt bad for him not seeing any of his family on Christmas, but he was such a sweet hubby and was just concerned with us staying safe.
Oh also my little brother Mark just graduated college last week from OU, It was a great ceremony and we are all so proud of him.
I have to tell you, My brother Mark has started a new nickname for Cooper and sometimes I even find myself saying it, its funny. It is Cooperton! Mark and his girlfriend Lauryn call Cooper that. I think its funny and cute. Good old Cooperton.
Attached are a TON of pictures from all the Christmas celebrations we just had, From Marks graduation.
Sorry I haven't kept up on any blogs lately, this past week I didn't even get on the computer.
I hope all of you had a great Christmas this year.

:) Aww such great pictures! Still can't believe we had blizzard like conditions here in the great state of OK:) Glad you had a great holiday isn't it unreal how fast it is over?
Being snowed in is the greatest!! I'm glad you had such a great holiday! Coop in that little suit is too much-adorable!!
That little suit is so cute! Also that grey shirt you are wearing in the grad pics, is that from Loft? I just bought something that looks just like it from Loft....
Brianne, Yes it is from the loft. I love it! I think the top design is really pretty. Enjoy yours.
Christmas does come so fast! Glad you guys didn't try to face the blizzard!
Hope you had the best Christmas as a family of 3 and Cooperton :)

Yay for your new vehicle girl!!!!!
Glad you all had a geat Christmas!
oh my, Cooper is such a handsome boy! So jealous of all that snow! It snowed up in the Dallas Area, but San Antonio is a lot further south and we didn't get any of it. Our holiday was SO busy!!! Are you sorta happy its over, like we are? We want the family back, but the constant "on-the-go" wears you out!
ummm... You all are the prettiest little family! Love all the pictures. I'm glad you all had a wonderful Christmas. Cooper is one handsome little man with one beautiful mommy and daddy.
Happy New year dear!
Love all the pics, especially the man suit -- so mature for his age! Hehe. And love the new nickname - Cooperton. So cute. Glad you guys stayed safe.
Looks like y'all really celebrated Cooper's first Christmas in style! Glad you had a merry one!
Congrats to your brother, my hubby graduated from OU 1 1/2yrs ago. :)
Love the pics, Cooper is changing so much, i love his smiles.
And yes that snow was crazy, we always get strange weather here in Oklahoma. I still remember like yesterday that ice storm we got that one year and ended up without power for almost a week, that was a nightmare. I am just so glad our power didnt go out this time. I actually drove today for the 1st time since it snowed and ended up running into a curb in my neighborhood because of the ice, my brakes locked up and i couldnt do anything about it, it dented my wheel but i am hoping it didnt mess it up too bad. Now that the sun is out, its starting to melt some but i hear we are supposed to get more snow this week.
Yay for a new safe car! Congrats!!!
And so glad you had a great Christmas!! Cooper looks so big! He's just the cutest thing in the world.
It looks like you guys had a wonderful Christmas too, Cooper is so handsome and happy:) I'm sorry Jillian didn't get to see his family, at least you were all safe and able to enjoy a white Christmas!
The pictures are great. It looks like you had a wonderful Christmas! The picture of Cooper smiling is adorable and Cooper in a suit is just too much sugar for my eyes. ADORABLE!

I'm glad to hear you all had a good Christmas and horray for getting the new wheels!!!
Feel better soon! It was horrible around here. I felt helpless when they were both hurting at the same time. Not fun. But the good news is that they're all better now. It took a week and a half though...entirely way too long!
Merry Christmas! I just got home and I am catching up on my blogs! Looks like y'all had a great time! Beautiful pictures and Cooper is such a stinkin' cutie pie! Love the snow pictures...we did that, too!! :)

So glad that you were safe from the Oklahoma blizzard! My aunt and uncle live in Edmond and said it was just crazy windy! We had very similar situation here, but not quite as much snow or as high of drifts!
Took a little blogging hiatus, but I am back and look forward to reconnecting!
Blessings to you for 2010,
Valerie
