September 16th 2010, Cooper's birthday!

You were born at 3:52 p.m. and it changed our world forever. Now here we are one year later. Celebrating you! What a great and amazing miracle to celebrate.


A co-worker of mine got Cooper a present. It was the very first gift he opened for his 1st birthday. Here he is the night before his b-day getting to sneak a present early :)You woke up on your birthday to a new slide and play set from mommy and daddy.

Then we got ready to go to the zoo :)



Cooper's favorite things at the zoo were the Chimpanzee's and the snakes. Yuck!
He had so much fun but got exhausted and needed some quiet time at home before dinner with friends and family.

We met family for dinner and then came home for a quick cake. Cooper was so tired from his long and special day.




But he still managed to tear into his big o'l cupcake.

The next morning he woke up bright eyed and ready to play with his new toys. Ready for the weekend ahead and not one but two more birthday parties.





We also took Cooper to his 1 year appointment last Friday. He did very good. He got a sticker (on his shirt in the picture above).
Doc says he's perfect.
He weighs 18lbs 14oz's. Still a tiny little guy. 5th percentile for his age.
He is 30-1/4" lg. 70th percentile for his age.
His head is 50th percentile.
He is perfect to us and we could not be more proud of him.

Our weekend was INSANE! Way to many people but lots of fun.
We had two huge parties at our house, One on Saturday and one on Sunday. I will be posting seperate posts for each soon.
I hope that Cooper had a great first b-day. I pray that God will watch over my son as he grows and keep him safe from harm alive and well. Helping him to learn and enjoy life every step of the way. We are so truly blessed.
