It seems like the holidays are all flying by and before we know it Cooper will have celebrated each and every one of them at least once. Its bittersweet but we are making sure that he is enjoying each one to the fullest. Even though he won't remember them:)
Before I get into our weekend. I want to thank all of you that took the time to send me a nice and encouraging message on my last post. It meant so much to me. Even if you didn't have advice or anything to tell about the procedure, you still wished me well. Thanks girls.
And thanks to anyone who did or does have any info that might help me out on this one.
Ok onto our weekend.
Friday we took Cooper for his 9 month checkup. He is in the 90th percentile for his height. Dang son! He's in the 15th percentile for his weight :( (no worries though, doc says he's perfect and healthy as can be just a little on the super tall side). His head was 25th percentile. Doc said he's perfectly healthy and wonderful. Yay Coops!
We are going to start weening him off his bottles. The problem is, he only takes formula with cereal in it due to reflux. How are we supposed to teach him to drink formula from a sippy cup if it has cereal in it?
Friday night we went to dinner with some friends of ours and then out for ice cream. We had a great time.
I took a few pics of Cooper before we left because he looked so cute. I just wanted to share.
He got all nice and ready.

He put on his snazy outfit :) His new shoes that I call his Hampton shoes. Yes, MWAH! (That was supposed to sound like a ritzy guy from who drinks his champagne with his pinky in the air).

He played for a while before we left to get himself all pumped and ready to go out and mingle.....

Saturday, My mom and dad came in town and mom, dad, Coop and I went shopping. We had a great time and it was a nice time for my mom and dad to spend with Coop and I. That afternoon we spent time at my grandma's with some of my family that is in town. My cousin Alex is home from the army this weekend. It was so nice to see him. We grew up together and now he's so far away. We keep in touch but I worry as I know all of you do about your loved ones away in the army. My prayers go out to them and their safety.
Here is a picture of some of my family and Alex.

One of Cooper's new sets of big boy shoes...Loving them :)

Uncle Matt played for a long time with the kids...

After grandma's Saturday afternoon, we went over to my husbands best friends house for some fun and fireworks. We had a great time.
Sunday the 4th we went to church then to Grandma's for dinner and then to go watch firecrackers. Cooper was decked out in his U.S.A gear.

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th.

Ashlyn was always below 5% for weight but no worries as long as they're actually gaining! She's still a tiny little thing at almost 4 she's not even 30 lbs yet!
Glad you had a wonderful Holiday. Just saw your previous post and wanted to tell you that I'm praying for you!
That first picture just cracked me up!!! He looks like Uncle Sam Junior!

I seriously LOVE all of these adorable pictures!
Cooper & his smile just melt my heart. It makes me so excited to celebrate all of the fun holidays with our baby next year :)
Looks like you guys had a great weekend!!
Cute cute cute! It's hard to believe that my little ones could be so "grown up" in 3 short months! Yikes!
OK, I LOVE the red, white, and blue hat ... how cute is that! And all the new shoes ... our little guy is growing up and wearing little man shoes!
Praying for you guys and the next step for baby #2. We know it's in God's hands and His timing.
P.S. Can't wait to see the backyard!
Lovin the shoes!
Love his big boy shoes! So cute!
Wonderful pics! He is such a snazzy baby! I wish I could keep shoes on just one of the girls!
I'm desperately trying to move to sippys and failing! The girls use them to smash finger foods on their tray or just chew on them, so annoying. Maybe you could just try the sippy without cereal, some babies outgrow their reflux. If you have the soft top sippy (like nuby) then you could just shove the prong of a fork through the hole to widen it a little. We have a set that has a vent hole you can do that with that is separate from the drinking spout.
And when do we get to see the backyard?? I am so excited, I need some ideas!
he is such a cutie-- and love your 4th of july outfit!
also.. thinking of you guys with all the conceiving questions..!
It looks like Cooper had a wonderful 1st 4th of July! I am loving his little "big boy" shoes!
Happy Belated 4th!!
I was so worried about the boys not getting teeth when everybody else's children were, but the boys managed to chew their food just fine and I really had nothing to worry about! I don't know if it's an old wive's tale or not, but so many people told me that the later the boys get teeth, the better b/c their teeth will be stronger. Could be a myth, but it made me feel better ;-)
Wonderful photos! It looks like Coop had a great first 4th of July! :)
Love his "big boy" shoes, too! So adorable!
Girl, do you know how photogenic you are?! Your so pretty! I love all of Cooper's shoes, he is styling! So glad that you guys had a great 4th and got to spend time with your family! Great pics, I love your blue dress!

I LOVE big boy shoes! I have a pair for Mason and I need more! They are adorable! I wish Coop could give some of that tallness to Mase! He's in the 25th percentile for Height :( Oh well at least he's on the charts right?!
such cute pics! Love his festive little hat and his shoes - precious!!
First of all Coop is so freakin adorable! I loved his 4th of July outfit and the one with the khaki shorts!
Second, Adalyn still doesn't have any teeth yet either, so don't worry! We have some late teeth cutters on our hands! Adalyn is still able to eat (really gum) so much table food though. It's amazing.
Third of all, I love the red and white striped dress, can you tell me where you got it from?
I don't know how I missed this post. OMG, Cooper looks so frekin' cute in his Unles Sam get-up!!
