We went to the doctor on Friday, and to our surprise when he started the ultrasound the first image to pop up on the screen was two legs and yes thats right ladies a penis! We are most definately having a boy. There was no sign of this until this appointment so we were surprised. We just saw the doctor 2 weeks before this appointment but as you know babies grow very fast.
We are so excited. Everything looked really good. I have some great Ultrasound pics but I tried to scan them and they didn't come out good. I'm not sure how to scan them to were you can see them good enough?
Either way we are so excited, we go back in 3 weeks so when I'm 13-1/2 weeks we will see our little baby boy again. Right now I'm 11 weeks. I'm just so ready to be out of this first tri-mester.
Sorry I've been doing so terrible at keeping up with my blog lately. I was out of town for a little while and when I got back I just hadn't gotten back on to check up. I've got to stay up on things. Everybody posted so much since I hadn't checked.

More like a human
We went to the doctor Friday. It was great. Our little one is starting to look more human now. Less like a cocoon. It has arm buds and you can distinctly see the head and back and neck. What a beautiful little person. I'M SO IN LOVE!
We go back in two weeks. I'm sort of scared because this week is the last few days we will be doing the progesterone and the dex meds. I've been on these since before I was pregnant and I know its time for me to stop taking them but it just scares me. Dr. N told me that its completely safe to stop taking them, that the pregnancy is carrying itself now but I can't help but be scared. I'm sure everything will be just fine. But if you could you might throw our little one into your prayers that they stay strong and healthy and keep growing.
I hope all of you are doing good. Thanks for your support.

excited for the future.
A friend of mine just had a baby this week. I can remember being secretly jealous the day I found out she was pregnant. It was right after my miscarriage and I was not in the mood to hear anyone say they were pregnant. But of course I put on a happy face and celebrated the great news because truly and honestly I was very happy for them. Just a little bummed for me at the time.
Anyways fast forward 9 months. She had her little girl two days ago. A beautiful healthy little angel baby. She's adorable and I was so happy for them. It made me really excited for the future. I want to enjoy all the parts of pregnancy and not want to rush things but at the same time, what a miracle to have that baby in your arms looking into there face.
Not trying to depress anyone who hasn't conceived yet because trust me for the past 3 years I was that girl. I didn't like it but I knew my time would come. But trust me I promise I do know how it feels when it all seems so out of reach from where you are now.
I just wanted to say though on a light note about this baby that it was such a beautiful thing. Maybe even more beautiful than I ever felt before now that I am pregnant and looking forward to that day my little lovely is born.
I just can't wait.
On another subject, lately I've been craving pasta, plain egg noodles with butter and Parmesan cheese all over them. How unhealthy is that??? Seriously, what kind of anything can my baby get from me eating that? But it just sounds so good. Yum! Its sounds great right now. I'm starving, I'm always starving. I get to feeling nauseous and I eat and its all better. I'm going to be huge if this doesn't go away after the first tri-mester.
Only 30 more minutes to lunch time. I'm so excited. I wish I could just turn the clock up and leave.
Then I will be looking forward to tomorrow. We go see our little muffin again. 9:30 Friday morning can't get here quick enough. Its been a week and I'm antsy to see that heart beat and hear it and see them all snug and safe, alive and well. :)
I hope everyone enjoys the rest of there day!

Tonight was supposed to be our valentines celebration but.....
I work 5 days a week 40 hours a week. But today was an interesting day. Started out with me laying in my bed not wanting to get up but knowing I absolutely had to.
Today basically started out crappy and ass backward. I started bleeding again, my male boss was rude to me, which I had the nerve to say to him "you don't have to be rude" which in turn made me start crying for I don't know what reason. Because I have absolutely no control whatsoever on all these new early pg symptoms, the speak your mind ones and the cry at the drop of a hat ones.
My female boss tells me to call my dr. asap and get in to check why I'm bleeding yet again. Then she says to leave and go home and rest until my appointment. So I'm not leaving work because I cried over my bosses rude attitude, but its feels weird to leave right after I did.
when I promise I was really ok. Just emotional, but fine.
She was nice and just wanted me to be healthy. I go the dr. Thank the lord everything with our tiny one is ok. Heartbeat good, everything good.
This dr. tells me that he thinks that due to the progesterone inserts I'm doing my cervix is very sensitive and can bleed very very easily. So honestly everythings fine. Its just there was SO MUCH blood this time. Scared me you know!
Needless to say I ended up getting a day off I never planned for, quite an embarrasing cry moment at work, which I hope and pray no one saw but my boss, I got to watch Nutty proffessor 2 and Survivor on Cox and take a few naps.
This is so not how I expected this day to be. Now I'm afraid if I go out with my hubby for our 1 night early valentines celebration I might be seen by someone at work when I really should be "at home resting" even though my dr. said it was fine to have regular activity. So I think I'll go to dinner. Its just dinner. I deserve it after this stressful day right.
Ok I'm done but it was truly quite an interesting day.
I hope you all have a wonderful Valentines weekend.

Everything is alright.
We went in for an ultrasound yesterday to check and make sure everything was ok. I stopped spotting completely not long after it started but they just wanted to make sure.
I was very happy and relieved to see the heart beating just the way it should and hear it beating (ahhh such a beautiful sound to my ears). We both let our a sigh of relieve and we talked to the doc about the possible causes. As far as now we chalk it up to weird things are happening in my body and that sort of thing just happens sometimes when things are shifting and growing so rapidly.
We also got a new ultrasound picture, I will have to upload these one day. The baby still doesn't look like a person yet just a blob but its grown so much since just last Friday when we saw our doctor last. 3 days and its considerably bigger. Thats good I think.
I appreciate all your support and help through this, its all so new to me and it really freaked me out.
Hopefully it won't happen again. But if it does I truly appreciate any help and advice you guys help me with.
We go back to the doctor Friday the 21st of February. It seems forever from now but its not.
I will be roughly 8-1/2 weeks then. Still seems so early to me, thats scary.
But I'm so excited to see how our little angel has progressed when we go in next.

ADVICE ASAP!!!!
Today I woke up and I have been really crampy yesterday all day and this morning. I went to the bathroom and there was a small clot of red blood when I wiped. Not necessarily spotting because its not allot but just one so far. I am totally freaked out, Its Sunday and I can't call my doc. This hasn't happened to us at all and I'm pretty much 7 weeks right now. Friday we went to the dr. and we heard the heartbeat and saw it beating on the moniter and saw the baby and everything looked great. It was the most amazing sight I've ever seen. I'm just terrified now that somethings wrong. Oh please God don't take this angel baby away from us, please let it be our future!
I'm just very nervouse and upset, becuase this hasn't happened ever before today.
Do any of you or have any of you ever had this happen? If so were things ok?
I am calling my dr. First thing tomorrow morning but what can they do? I'm so scared.
Please keep us in your prayers and let me know if this is normal. I had a friend who spotted through most of her pregnancy but it started really early and lasted most of it.
This isn't like that.

Everything looked good so far.
So we went to the doc today, and it went really well I would say:)!!!!
I mean its still so early and so much is still so scary and iffy but I'm really emotionally attached to this little angel growing inside of me already. I feel like this one is real, like this will be my life, my future. This is my little future life growing inside of me. That's what really scares me, the what if I'm wrong and something goes wrong? But I can't live that way so I'm embracing this angel and I'm praying my heart out with the help of tons of great friends and family and I'm going to enjoy every little step of this.
We did our early pregnancy questionnaire with our nurse, had a ton of blood tests and did our US. There it was, our little baby. The sack looked good and in the middle was a tiny spec of white, way to early for a heartbeat but still the yolk sac was there (that's weird to say yolk sac, Am I the only one who wish there was a better way to explain your early baby growth). But there it was looking good but not quite human form yet. I love love loved it.
My husband Mr. tough guy was sitting there all happy and content with Dr. N. looking and talking very pleased with what he saw. I thought J was going to cry (OK maybe not I can't be sure but it looked like he was entranced in happiness). It was great, They gave us the what to expect when your expecting book, tons of magazines, free prenatal vitamins and meds I might want or need. It was all becoming real finally.
I am however only 5 weeks and 4 days today. That seems so scary, so early. I just want to be in some sort of safe zone, I wish I could see the future and see that all will be great.
Either way yesterday was great. The doctor seemed pleased with what he saw, we go back again next Friday and then the next Friday after that until they can get a heartbeat. I can't wait to hear that. What an amazing thing to experience. :)
I have to tell you that I asked my Dr. a question and his facial expression was hilarious. I actually asked him if my jeans cutting into my tummy could hurt the tiny baby deep inside me. I know, I know its ridiculous. Since first of all I'm not growing at all yet so my jeans being tight is just from me buying to small of jeans and since all the invitro meds are making me swollen still they seem to stick to me like glue. But I'm suddenly so much more aware of my stomach and things tightening around it. I felt silly because he laughed at me and said "no" very blatantly and laughed and said this exact sentence to me "your baby is really low in you right now, basically down in your vagagay, so your jeans can't hurt it" (or however you spell that). It was hilarious. I felt like such a dork but I don't know??? I just wanted to check any small thing that could mess anything up. Anyways it was funny. OK I'll stop now but seriously thanks for following us, Its more than amazing having people who follow and support us.
*Thanks to all of you who are thinking of us and praying for us. It means more than I can ever explain. Keep them coming, we can never have enough prayers and supporters.
Now onto next Friday, Keep growing little one.
