Family's are a gift, We had a great time on our family vacation. We missed my little brother not being there and wished he could have gone too. But we did have a blast. Great memories were made. We are truly blessed.

11 months old

Cooper, its hard for me to even begin to believe that its almost been a year since the day you came into my world. I'm happy and slightly sad at the same time at how fast this time is flying by. But I want you to know that I could not love you more. I truly love you more each day, and its hard to believe that my love could grow more. But it does. Every time I think of you, look at you, hug you, smile at you, and smell your sweet baby smell. You are growing by leaps and bounds this past month and I can't even imagine the things you might be doing in another month by your first birthday.
Here are some of your new talents :)
You are playing with other kids. Actually interacting and you love to play chase. You wait for a kid to smile at you and you smile this super mischievous smile back at them and run the opposite direction in hopes that they will chase you.

You say hi in the most adorable high pitch voice I've ever heard. You wave a big open hand wave.

You say Dada all the time. Its your favorite word EVER to say.

Just this morning you were sitting next to me on the couch. We both just woke up. I was eating a poptart and you wanted some. I let you have a corner. You ate it up. You sat patiently staring at me, so I asked you if you wanted more and no lie you looked right at me and in a high pitched sweet voice you said "YAH". You did this about 3-4 more times after that and I am positive you were truly saying yah to my question.

You smile a radiant beaming blue eyed smile at me constantly melting my heart.

You love to eat grown up food.

You have 2 teeth on the bottom and you just popped two more out on top. I see another just skimming the gums on top. I bet in the next few days you will then have 5 teeth. They all came within your 10th to 11th month. But your handling them coming in extremely well.

Your a scrappy little wobbly walking goofy funny happy baby boy. You practically run to get where you want to go now. When you walk you get all sideways and end up falling over half the time like a drunken old guy. But its funny because you just get back up right where you fell and power forward full speed ahead.

Your favorite toys are pushing anything around. Playing our piano, riding on your play car or having mommy push you around the room on it. You love music. You love people.

You probably weigh about 19 - 20 lbs now. Your getting taller every minute.
You wear size 3 diapers and size 3 shoes. You wear size 6-9 pants and 6-9 shirts. Sometimes your pants sag a little because of your tiny waste.

You hug, and you know how to kiss back. You open your mouth wide and give a sweet kiss back.

You love love love your daddy, and you want to do what daddy is doing all the time.

We are so proud of you angel. You are our everything and we can't imagine what we did without your amazing presence in our lives every day.

Happy 11 months bubs!

We're baaaaack!

Home! Its always so nice to come home after a week long trip and smell the amazing smell of your own home. See your pretty green grass in your own back yard. And best of all lay down on your very own bed.

Our vacation to visit our family this past week was WONDERFUL! God blessed us with a safe and great trip. We had so much fun with my mom's sister and her family and to top it all off Cooper was an angel 90% of the time we were traveling to and from the house. The drive was 14-1/2 hours to get there. Then we had to make the long trek home as well. He was a little more fussy on the way there but on the way home he was truly such an angel. I was so impressed. I feel like he's grown leaps and bounds in just the past week that we have been gone. I've been with him the entire time but even I see the changes in him. He's saying hi all the time, waving constantly, he's interacting and actually playing with my 2-1/2 year old niece. It has been absolutely wonderful being with him every day this week and not worrying about leaving him with someone so I can go to work.

I will give you a short run-down on how our week went in this post. Then each day this week I will post pictures and stories from our vacation. I just have so many great pictures and stories so I hope you can all bare with me hear.

Basically the week was filled with Lake fun, ski-ing and wake boarding. Family fun, a water park, shopping, dinners out, grilling out, and dancing. I'll explain these subjects in more detail over the next few days. But just know that we had a blast and that we took WAY to many pictures. :) Are you surprised??? Ha Just kidding. We all know I have a problem with picture overloads.

I hope you all had a great week. :) Here are a few action packed fun pics. More to come.

A quick cute one.

I just had to jump on quickly and tell you what Cooper was doing last night.
We went to the store to grab a few last minute items for our trip. We are leaving in two days. This past week we have filled our nights with getting ready to go and getting laundry done, bags packed and grabbing any last minute items we need. We ran over to Forever 21 last night so I could get a pair of shorts and as we are walking around I hear my husband laughing. I look over to see Cooper staring up at the mannequin smiling and waving. Every 3 or 4 mannican we would pass he would add a high pitched "Hi" with a huge smile and wide open handed wave. It was A-FREAKING-DORABLE.. I mean he says hi sometimes and he waves but for him to wave and say hi and he genuinely wanted those mannequins to know that he was saying hi. It was so cute. I just felt bad they couldn't say hi back. :)

Thanks for all your good wishes on our vacation. I'm so excited to go! Have a great week ladies.
I'm hoping on our long drive I might be able to use my husbands I phone to catch on all my lovely blog families.
