Today we got to see our sweet baby again.

Today was such a great day! My mom works at a technology center and was able to get us an appointment with the ultrasonic techs at her school for my hubby and I to get a longer 30 minute 3d ultrasound. It didn't cost us anything and I was just so happy to see our little guy.
We went (my hubby and I, Mom and Dad, and my aunt) and they started the ultrasound. Now since this isn't a place you pay $250.00 dollars for one of those videos its not quite like that, but still great to see. The learning tech nurse did our ultrasound for us today. She was sweet. So timid, which would normally annoy me but like I said it was free and my family was there watching and we have so many good pics from my regular OB's office that I'm not complaining.
Anyways she was so sweet. Kept saying "he's such a beautiful baby, what a nice profile". I was like "you are saying all the right things :)"
He was adorable. OH MY GOODNESS I CAN'T WAIT TO FEEL HIS LITTLE FINGERS AND TOES AND KNOW HE'S REAL!!!!! He sucked his thumb, he moved around allot. He was so dang cute (can you tell he's mine?). He was sucking in the amniotic fluid which I hear is good for his lungs so keep on sucking little guy. He just looks great. His heart did, everything did. The only unfortunate thing was that his hand and feet were all scrunched up by his face making him a little uncooperative to taking good face shots. We got about 12-15 black and white ut picks. I love them! Although its not of his entire face. I will try to scan some in on Monday at work to share with you guys.

Until then I will leave you with a few of our 28 week pics.
And a few items we bought for him. My very favorite pair of little stylish shoes for him and his little Halloween onesy. It says "I love my mummy" So cute.

Thank you lord so very much for this baby. Please keep him healthy and well. We are truly grateful!

28 weeks today

Today marks the start of week 28. I can't believe that our baby is 28 weeks already.
He has been kicking a whole lot stronger lately. When I haven't felt him in a while I can't help but softly press around my tummy in hopes of waking him up and making him kick me back. Just so that I know he's alive and well. I feel bad for doing this but at the same time it makes me feel better. I can just see his little face all scrunched up and mad punching me back half awake.
Sorry Coop!
I've been feeling relatively good this past week. The lovely UTI I was diagnosed with early last week is getting better and I believe I still have some meds to take to completely cure it up but for the most part I'm feeling good. I still have no stretch marks WOOHOO! I just hope it stays that way and I've gained about 21-22 lbs total so far in this pregnancy.
I was wondering if anybody could tell me when you were given the Rhogam shot if you are RH Negative? My mom told me she thought it was supposed to be this week but I mentioned it to the nurse at my office and she nonchalantly said "As long as its before 32 weeks your good. So they will give it to me at my next appointment which is 30 weeks. I just hope that's not too late? I also haven't been tested for the Beta Strep which tends to be very popular in my family. (I'm not sure if that matters but we have had a few babies in our family with this). So I forgot to ask my doc when they will be testing me for this too?
I had my blood glucose test last week and everything looked good there. I do not have gestational diabetes.

We had a great 4th of July, I spent the day with my mom. She bought me a beautiful navy dress to wear to my showers. I can't wait.
Then we went to some friends houses, both pool parties. I stayed up until 11:00. This is past my bed time. These days I'm just no fun past 9:30-10:00. I get so tired and my body starts to get achy. So I was proud of myself.

I hope you all had a great weekend.
This Friday is our big 4d ultrasound, I'm so excited. I can't hardly wait to see our little guy. We will hopefully get lots of pictures. So I will upload them, especially the really good ones for you all to see.

I just want to thank God for this beautiful gift and ask that he keep watching over our baby boy keeping him alive and well and to help him grow strong and ready to live to live in this world.

Attached is a pic of what the size of our baby is right now.
Have a great rest of the week!

I felt like one of those overly worried pregnant women in the movies!!

Well this week has been an interesting one to say the least.
I should start this by saying that I Monday night on my way home from work I mentioned to my mom on the phone that I had just had two Braxton Hicks contractions in a row. Not normal for me, atleast not lately. I sort of ignored this and went on with my night. By about 7:15 I really noticed that I was still having them, but even more often instead of one every two hours or so I was having one every 10-20 minutes.
No pain as you know if you've had them yourself it was just the tightening of my uterus. But it wasn't even always the entire uterus. Sometimes it was the whole bottom half, sometimes the whole top half.
Needless to say from 7:30-8:50ish they became more frequent and by about 9:15 I was starting to get worried because I was having this happen almost every 3-5 minutes for 30 second intervals. I called my mom and good friend to ask what to do?? Mom tells me to drink water which I did because she said that it could just be dehydration. I drank a whole bottle of water and then called my doc.
This was about 9:30. The doctor on call called me back and asked a bunch of questions. I assured him I felt just fine, completely normal actually aside from the constant tightening. I didn't want to blow it out of proportion. He asked more questions about how often and exactly what it felt like. He then says "I'm sure its nothing, It could be that your very dehydrated, it could be nothing. I would take it easy and drink a little bit more water and see if that helps and if it doesn't than I want you to head up to labor and delivery at the hospital". So I say to him "So drink some water, wait for how long before I head to the hospital?" He was like "well I think you should get ready to go right now and drink the water and just go ahead and head up there now". I was like "WHAT" what the heck happened to drink some water and see if it helps???
Needless to say we went to the hospital, were there for 3 to 3-1/2 hours and they were just about to let us go because the bh's had slowed down to nearly nothing. I was hardly having them. Must have been the water that helped. They said the baby was fine. They decide to take a urine sample just in case right before we leave. One hour later they come back to tell me I have a UTI. Great. That's lovely. I know its really common in pregnancy but I was like "how did I get that"? The nurse assured me its common but we were confused because I was having no symptoms aside from the bh's. Which they said were happening because of the infection. They sent me home and gave me meds. I'm so glad everything is fine with the baby. The bad thing is had they not caught it, the infection if left too long they said could force you into early labor, so I'm very glad that didn't happen.
Also Its weird I didn't have any symptoms, then yesterday and today I'm misserable. I'm on antibiotics so I just hope it goes away quickly. It hurts in my lower stomach now, I'm going to the bathroom every 20 minutes and nothing comes out but it feels like I need to go so bad and it burns. I just think its strange this just started happening. Sorry if that was tmi!
Today I was worried because I keep thinking the meds will clear this up. But still no change, it seems to be getting worse.
Have any of you ever had one of these while pregnant?

26 weeks and counting.

Here's Julian with the onesy my co-worker and his wife got us at Disney world last week. I thought that was Sooo nice of them to even think of us. Its so soft and sweet. It will perfect for him this winter.

This is the tree my sister in law painted in Coopers room. She did such a great job. I absolutely love it. I can't wait to put the rest of the nursery together.

The pic above is of me on my 26 week mark.

This one is still 26 weeks just a different day.

Well this week has been a long week. My sis in law came and painted the tree in Coops room as you can see above. We love it. She did a great job. We had asked her when I very first got pregnant and I new what I wanted it to look like depending on boy or girl. I just can't believe its on the wall and done. I had imagined it for so long and now its there. She did a great job.
I've been having troubles sleeping this week. Everything is fine with the baby, I am just getting uncomfortable. My ribs are really inflamed (that's what my doc told me Friday) apparently they can get inflamed and they can stay that way. So it looks like I better get used to it. Anyways, I wake up in pain on either side and I keep waking up on my back! I can't seem to stop rolling in my sleep (probably because of the intense rib pain???) but I keep waking up on my back and freaking out afraid I'm cutting off the blood supply to the baby. So Friday night I decided to try to sleep with not only my c shaped pregnancy pillow but also a big long body pillow on the other side of me to sort of wedge myself on my side through the night. What happens.... I roll over and us the two pillows on either side of me as an arm rest and foot rest and I'm still on my back :( What the heck???
I don't know how to stop doing that?

Saturday J and I went to the birthing class at the Ob's office. It was interesting and a little scary. I like to try not to think too much about the birth part of this. I'm a worrier so If I don't pre-worry about things I handle the shock of it better. I obviously know the main things about giving birth but I'm trying not to freak myself out to much before it happens. Anyways the class was nice and it was good for my hubby. He learned lots of things that can help him also in the delivery room.

I saw my doctor on Friday, and Cooper is looking good. He's now in the 40Th percentile as apposed to the 35Th like last time we went. So he is growing "whew".
Thank goodness. We did the blood Glucose testing and haven't heard back. Hopefully everything is fine there.
We don't go back for 4 weeks!!!! That seems so long.
But we have our big 4d video ultrasound in two weeks so that will make it a little better. All in all We had a good week.
I just can't thank God enough for this beautiful miracle. Please keep our angel baby safe and alive dear lord. We can't wait to meet him face to face.

Have a good week ladies.

Anniversary pics!

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share some of our 6 year anniversary pics with you. It was a different sort of fathers day this year. My mom and dad are actually in Mexico celebrating there 30th wedding anniversary so we didn't get to see him today :( but hopefully they are having a wonderful time. My husbands dad we went and saw after church this morning and visited and gave his present to him.
Then since it was our 6 year wedding anniversary we spent the day together. We went and bought a maternity swimsuit for me since my two piece isn't looking so cute these days.
Then we went and saw "The Proposal", such a cute movie!
We went to dinner at a wonderful beautiful steakhouse and it was deliciouse and wonderful. We had such a great day together. I thank God everyday for such a wonderful man in my life. He is my everything and I am so blessed and happy to spend my life with him. I know that he is going to make such an amazing father to our little Cooper and any future children we have.
So to him Happy fathers day honey, and happy anniversary. I love you always.
Here are some pictures from today. The new bathing suit the before dinner pic. The during dinner pic and then the after dinner pic.

25 WEEKS TODAY!

Here he is our little baby boy at 23 weeks! I had a hard time uploading these but was finally able to figure it out.
We have been doing so much lately, its all so overwhelming. We are finishing some painting on the white woodwork in the baby's room this week. We are getting ready to have our tree painted on the wall by my talented sister in law. We have registered and our furniture came in.
We have done so much but yet I feel like we have so much more to do. I don't know how we will get it all done?

I've been feeling pretty good lately I guess. I've had lots of stretching pains and last night I felt very sick to my stomach. I don't know why but I had to lay down for a few hours and just take it easy. Its so dang hot outside and humid, who knows maybe that's why I felt so bad. But I better get used to that because its only going to get worst.
The baby has been moving so much, Its great. He's getting stronger and I can tell by the power behind his kicks.
We go back to the doc a week from this Friday, I feel like that's so far away.

On another note, this Sunday my husband and I celebrate our 6 year wedding anniversary! We are very excited. We have a few ideas of what to do but I'm not sure exactly what yet. I went by the jewelry store last night and got my ring steam cleaned for the occasion. I don't do that enough and when they were done it was so clean and sparkly. Seriously why don't I do that more often?
Our gift to each other this year is this baby. Its what we have wanted, prayed for and been dreaming of since we decided to get married and we could get no better gift than him.
So thank you God for this gift.

I hope all you ladies are having a great week!!!

My 23 week appt.

Friday we had our 23 week appointment and baby Cooper looked great. Dr. said his heart is still sounding good and strong, he took tons of pics of him and sent those home with us but I can't get the dang things to upload on the blogger so sorry ladies. I will make it happen another day.
The only thing that he did say that slightly concerned me was that the baby is measuring in the 35% for the amount of weeks he is. I asked if that's a bad thing and he said "no absolutely not, he's healthy he's just not a big huge baby, you're a small girl so I wouldn't expect your baby to be really big, and you have plenty of time for him to put on more weight". He wasn't concerned at all. But of course I was. I'm thinking am I not eating enough, what can I do to make him bigger?
But I guess 35 percentile isn't that bad, considering some babies come out and are so small they aren't even on the charts for there age. So as long as the docs not concerned I will try not to be.

I've been feeling and seeing him move so much lately. Its so much fun, I love it! My husband and I laid in bed last night just watching my belly twith and move and punch out with movement. A couple of weeks ago I was terrified he would never move and now we are watching bumps come out of my stomache. Its great.
What an amazing feeling to experience. I can't wait to meet this angel baby.
Tonight we are going to go register. My sister in law is throwing me my first shower on July 25th and so we just want to make sure that we have things settled and done in time for that shower. We don't have our next shower until August 15th only a little over a month before my due date.
I'm so excited to go register. I have a feeling it will take a few weeks to get it all the way we want it though. Since we are registering at a few different places.
Anyways, I hope all of you ladies are doing just great.
Thanks for all your sweet comments it means so much to me to have such supportive sweet girls in my life.
