Friday we had our 23 week appointment and baby Cooper looked great. Dr. said his heart is still sounding good and strong, he took tons of pics of him and sent those home with us but I can't get the dang things to upload on the blogger so sorry ladies. I will make it happen another day.
The only thing that he did say that slightly concerned me was that the baby is measuring in the 35% for the amount of weeks he is. I asked if that's a bad thing and he said "no absolutely not, he's healthy he's just not a big huge baby, you're a small girl so I wouldn't expect your baby to be really big, and you have plenty of time for him to put on more weight". He wasn't concerned at all. But of course I was. I'm thinking am I not eating enough, what can I do to make him bigger?
But I guess 35 percentile isn't that bad, considering some babies come out and are so small they aren't even on the charts for there age. So as long as the docs not concerned I will try not to be.
I've been feeling and seeing him move so much lately. Its so much fun, I love it! My husband and I laid in bed last night just watching my belly twith and move and punch out with movement. A couple of weeks ago I was terrified he would never move and now we are watching bumps come out of my stomache. Its great.
What an amazing feeling to experience. I can't wait to meet this angel baby.
Tonight we are going to go register. My sister in law is throwing me my first shower on July 25th and so we just want to make sure that we have things settled and done in time for that shower. We don't have our next shower until August 15th only a little over a month before my due date.
I'm so excited to go register. I have a feeling it will take a few weeks to get it all the way we want it though. Since we are registering at a few different places.
Anyways, I hope all of you ladies are doing just great.
Thanks for all your sweet comments it means so much to me to have such supportive sweet girls in my life.

Whohoo! An excuse to eat more. You are ity-bity (in such a cute way) so your doc is right. Besides, babies put on the most weight in the last trimester so he could just be a late gainer. And while 35% isn't bad at all more cheese fries couldn't hurt :)
It is so neat to feel and see your baby move. I am so glad you are getting to experience all of that. And don't worry about the 35% thing. Remember that 50% is average so he is just a little smaller right now. Next time he may be at 45% or 55%, who knows. I am sure you are taking good care of yourself so don't worry.
Thats all great news! I bet you are loving feeling him move a lot more! I loved that the most!
Glad to hear everything is going well. Your post was so sweet. I hope to one day be able to experience those same wonderful moments! :)
Are you really naming the baby Cooper? I LOVE THAT NAME!!! :)

Thanks for the compliment. I totally would take pictures of your baby for Free if I lived closer. I am in the stage of learning and wanting lots of practice on anyone and everyone. If you know anyone in the Florida panhandle that wants free photos, let me know.
I love looking at people's registry! Have so much fun!!
Have fun registering!! I'm so glad to hear that your u/s went well and 35th percentile isn't bad! Keep doing what you're doing! xo
How great you are feeling him move like crazy! He will get bigger don't worry about that! Have fun registering!
Movememt is the BEST part of being pregnant! And registering is a lot of fun too! Don't worry about how big the baby is...every body is all concerned about having a chunky baby, but God makes HEALTHY babies in all shapes and sizes! Believe me, I know it's hard not to be anxious during your pregnancy! My my third, I thought I would be calm and collected but I was still a nervous wreck!
Have fun registering! It is fun! Don't forget a Baby Bjorn...it is a life saver! :)
I would eat things that are high in Omega 3 which will be a good fat for him (and you!!). It will help him gain weight and aid in brain developement/eye developement and be good for your heart. You can buy Hodgens Mill ground flax on the flour aisle. Sprinkle it on oatmeal, yogert, in pancake batter, bread batter, muffins mix, spagetti sauce, etc. You only need two tablespoons a day. Another thing you can do is eat either raw or roasted green pumpkin seeds. They are a wonderful Omega 3 fat! 1/4 cup is one serving. Handfuls of almonds are good too! Avocados would be a good option too. I like to cut up chunks and sprinkle with a little pepper/salt/lemon.

I stumbled on your blog and noticed you are in Tulsa (me too) and i have been reading alot of your blog and seen that you are going to the same clinic that i did for my pregnancies. Except i noticed you called your doc "Doctor N" so i am assuming thats Nilson, right? I had Dr Sterling as my obgyn and i just love Tulsa Womens HealthCare. I have only seen Dr N once and he was there the day i was being discharged, he is so funny, but i hear he is a wonderful doc.
Congrats on your pregnancy!
