Versitile Blogger Award

Today I recieved the Versitile Blogger Award from the lovely miss Jody at the http://jodygrundstrom.blogspot.com/. Thanks Jody :)

For this award I pass it on to 7 other blogs I recently found. I don't follow a whole lot of new blogs because I follow so many and don't hardly have time to keep up. I will be choosing some of my newest blogs to send this award to.

I need to also post 7 things about myself.
(I'm trying to think of things I haven't told you all before)???

1. I like to eat Pickles and Cheese, yes together. And no this is not just a pregnant thing.

2. I work for a pipe supply company and I am an extremely girly girl. They don't really seem to match but it works somehow.

3. I procrastinate badly, I don't like to but somehow manage to put things off that I don't want to do until the very last moment.

4. I absolutely LOVE having my Christmas tree up, I usually put it up early and take it down a week or so late. Then when it comes down I'm slightly sad by not having any twinkling lights and glittery balls to look at when I'm in my living room.

5. I usually wear lip gloss but just recently started to wear lipstick. however I usually only wear nude colors because I can't seem to find a nice color that doesn't look ridiculous on me.

6. I want 3-4 kids if God will let it happen.

7. I love the taste of an ice cold coke, but now that I'm prego I limited myself to 1-2 a week, its really hard but I'm doing good.

Now onto those of you I will pass this award onto.

ITS A ??????????????????????????

GIRL!!! Yes you heard me right. We got confirmation today that the baby is definitely a girl. My doctor did a very long ultrasound and said he was positive its a girl. He told us to paint the room pink and tell everyone he was that sure. I told him that if he was wrong he was personally going to have to come over and repaint for us :)

Here she is our little sweet and tiny number 2.

I'm so in love.

Dad's birthday and can you guess the sex of the baby???

This past weekend we went to visit my parents. Sunday was a very special day for us, my daddy's birthday! My dad is such an amazing father, he is loving and funny, caring and protective, he is strong, he is smart, he is my hero. I know it seems corny but I love my dad to pieces and I hope that his birthday was just perfect.
We met my parents and one of my brothers at Zio's for lunch Saturday. Then it was back to mom and dads, the guys watched football and the girls went Christmas shopping. I was finally able to get a good start on my Christmas shopping. I wish I could have more done already but thank the lordy I even got what I did this weekend.
Saturday night we watched our Sooner's play ball and they won (which has not been happening quite as much as we would like this year).
Sunday we went to church and then spent the day with Dad. We watched the Cowboys play and they also won WOOHOO! That was a great gift to my dad, they are his all time favorite NFL team.
We had dinner, presents and even got to take a family picture :) Cooper wasn't exactly cooperating but oh well it was worth a try.
Its hard to believe that next year there will be not just one but two new babies in our family pictures. My sis in law is only 6 weeks ahead of me on her pregnancy. :)
As far as my pregnancy is going, things are good. I'm 14 weeks on Thanksgiving and I'm feeling like I'm 20 weeks along. This baby is showing WAY faster than Cooper did. I'm not sure if its because I've been pregnant before or what? Either way I'm a whole lot bigger early on than I was with him. I've even attached a little comparison below.
My ribs started hurting yesterday. This was an ongoing issue I had during my pregnancy with Coop. They hurt like hell and there was nothing I could do about it. Well here we go again, they have already started to ache and I know from experience that it won't stop until the baby is out.
I'm not feeling very nauseous anymore, thank goodness. That was TERRIBLE!
As far as symptoms, I'm craving FOOD FOOD and more FOOD! I'm hungry constantly its ridiculous. I'm not too terribly irritable, but I'm feeling bloated and full (ha probably because I'm eating a ton). No maternity clothes, even though my bump seems low still I'm not having to band my jeans or wear a bella band yet. I did have to wear it with Cooper right around this time so I'm wondering if it will happen soon or if this baby is just higher than he was in general?
We are hoping that at the next appointment we can get some better insight to what I'm having. Our doctor took an educated guess at our last appointment but it was still so early that things weren't developed enough. So fingers crossed for some news next week.
Here is a pic of me today.
Ok so does anyone want to guess the sex?

Here are a few things I will tell you about this pregnancy...

1. Carrying.. slightly higher than my last so far, but who knows what next week will bring.
2. Cravings... Well just about every single thing, but I guess I would say salty over sweet. Most the time.
3. Breasts... Have been extremely swollen since super early and are not getting any less pain free.
4. Morning sickness... Yes from about 5 wks - 11-1/2 weeks
5. Headaches... Yes Migraines

I'm not really having any other major symptoms or signs. These are the only out of ordinary things for me.

Take a guess???????????

Oh and last but not least, I'm posting that video of Cooper I took like 2 months ago. Its just so dang cute. Enjoy :)

A blast from the past.

I have no new pictures to post, just thoughts and some old favorite pics. Lately I've been feeling really happy. Just happy about life in general. I pray daily and thank God for the gifts he brings into my life and I do feel truly blessed.
Cooper could not be more amazing, he makes my days full of joy and happiness. My sweet husband is amazing and loving and supportive. My family and friends are the absolute best. We have a beautiful baby on the way. I've been getting so excited for the holidays. I think we will be breaking out the tree and decorations next week sometime and I'm remembering these moments last year. For some reason I wanted to post a few of my favorite pictures from Thanksgiving and Christmas last year. Just the season not the actual days.
I have been thinking about where we were last year, new parents and all. How much changes in one year and where we are now. Its been such a great year and I look forward to this year coming up as well and meeting my other little baby love. So for now, a little fun back track to the past. Thanksgiving through Christmas of 2009.
Our little boy was only a few months old. Time has flown by and sometimes I just go back and look at him so tiny and it seems like it was just yesterday.
Thanksgiving pics my cousin took last year.

Christmas 09

It amazes me that we are about to take our Thanksgiving/Christmas pictures this year with our big 1 year old and me with a prego belly. Its exciting and crazy and beautiful and wonderful.

14 MONTHS OLD! 13 WEEK PREGNANT

Cooper is now 14 months old today. I can't believe its already been 2 months since my baby boy turned 1 year old. Cooper is keeping us quite entertained with his funny little personality. He's dancing with this awesome little shoulder move where he really gets the shoulders going. Its so funny! He's absolutely LOVING Mickey Mouse Playhouse. The hot dog song, oh how he loves the hot dog song. We sing it constantly around our house and Cooper stops what he's doing and starts dancing immediately. Its great.
Cooper is now weighing in at a whopping 20 lbs!!! WOOHOO, our baby boy is getting so big yet he's so tiny. :) We love him just the way he is. I'm afraid his tiny little mama may not be able to handle him if he was much bigger at this age.
Cooper is saying all sorts of things. A couple of weeks ago while I was on the phone with my mom he said "I love you" to her clear as day. He talks a lot, its just a matter of weather you can understand what he's saying or not.
I have a few really cute video's to show you guys and I will definitely be sharing them soon.

Unfortunately all three of us (4 if you include #2) have been really sick the past 7 days. First Cooper caught a cold, then I did, then the hubs did. Its been miserable and we still aren't over it today. I finally got some help from my doc to try to kick it because it just won't go away.

Needless to say though, everyone is doing alright. We are just way behind on updating our life on the blog.
So below are a few of the things we did the past two weeks when we weren't feeling horrible.

This first picture is of my mom, Sis in law, Cousins, aunt and I. We had a girls night dinner a couple weekends ago and had such a good time.

My mom cooked chill for a chili cook off contest and guess what..... SHE WON 1ST PLACE. YAY MOM!!!!
Hanging with Grandma after a long day of Chili..
Last week, Cooper got his first haircut!!
Our friend and my hairdresser Kelli did it and she and Cooper both did a great job.

Here is the back of Coopers nice new haircut.

Here I am 12 week pregnant. So close to the end of the first tri-mester.....

We had a wedding to go to this past weekend and the reception was at the aquarium. It was beautiful and as an added peice of fun we got to walk around and show Cooper all the fish.
Here is a shark from the shark tank

The stingrays!!!!Julian and Cooper and Julian's best friend Mike and his little boy Carter.

Its been a busy few weeks full of sickness and fun (do those two even go together???) Hopefully we are all on the outs of this yucky cold and we can enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday next week.

I hope all of you are doing good.

Halloween

Thanks for the suggestions on using You tube. I will be trying that tonight, I'm pretty sure my husband has a you tube account. :)

Last weekend for Halloween my little brother came to town to visit. We had a great time hanging out and catching up and Cooper just loved having him at our house.
Saturday morning we all made pancakes together and spent the day at the house. Saturday night there was a fun kids carnival type thing on main street and so we took Cooper all dressed up in his costume. We saw so many friends there with their kids as well, it was a blast. Here are some of those pictures.

Cooper and his buddy Braden...
Cooper's other friend Braden, who also just so happened to be his twinky. They cracked me up the way they stared at each other. HAHA!

Unfortunately I haven't uploaded my pictures from Halloween night. So I will just share these for now. :)

Tonight I will try to post the cute video.
