Post 3 of 6 Bella Ray's birth

On April 14th my very close friend Shannon had her sweet baby girl Bella Ray.
We could not be more excited for Bella and her mom and dad. They struggled to get pregnant and were told they may only have one baby if any. After two rounds of IVF they got pregnant with this little princess.

Here she is!

post 2 of 6 Blakely's nursery

Here are the pictures of Blake's nursery finally.
We don't have her big tall bookshelf done so the wall that will have that and all her special books and stuff on it is not in the pics. But for the most part the room is down and here is what it looks like. Lots of things in her room we hand made because we are on more of a budget with this baby. I think it turned out pretty good for what we were working with money wise.
I hope our baby girl loves her room :)

post 1 of 6 My baby shower

Blakely's shower thrown by my four very good friends was just so perfect. They threw a small shower for us and we got so many wonderful sweet girl gifts.
We have amazing friends and family.
Here are some pictures of the decor and a few others we took that day.

Cake balls, they were delicious!

The lovely ladies who threw this beautiful shower for me...

quick post!

So much has been going on.
Last week I was talking to someone about my blog. Telling them what a great way it is for me to record special times or moments that Cooper says or does things. Then I realized as I said it that I'm horrible lately. Really the past 6 months. Cooper does so much and is saying some funny things and I always say I want to record it on my blog so I can make this into a book and have it forever. Yet I never remember or find the time to blog about it. :(

Well today I'm doing it. I'm recording two cute and funny things he did this past week.

I was reading him his night night book "Jesus loves me" (we have to read it every night or he just won't go to sleep). I decided on this night to add in a different book before I read Jesus loves me to him. So I picked a cute little book and started to read. I get halfway done with it. Cooper puts his hand out over the page and says "Mama, Done done"..... "Mama go bye bye" and points to his bedroom door.

Wow, ummmm ok, I guess I'm done reading to you then. Haha. He cracks me up.

Then the next morning he's sitting in his car seat getting strapped in and he hears our neighbors truck start. He can't see it because we are in our garage but he turns to me with big eyes and says as clear as day "I hear a gogo". He calls cars go-go's.
I was just so proud of him for even making a sentence and then to top it off it actually made sense. He's truly growing up. He talks all the time.

Lately his BuhBye has been the hit of the town. He says it so funny, I will no doubt get a video of this and share it.

The past week we finished some things in Blakes room and I had my friends and family baby shower. I will be doing a post on both this coming week.

On another not my best friend Shannon is having her baby this coming Thursday. I'm so excited and can't wait to meet her :)

I'll be back soon....

So much to update on, its going to be a major picture post.

Can you believe I never posted my pictures from St. Patty's day!!! I know, I'm pretty embarrassed it took this long. But I had to share them since Cooper looked adorable in his green get up.

Cooper Cuddling his baby sister already. What a sweetie he is...

My best friend Shannon (35 weeks), me (30 weeks).
One night last week Shannon and her husband Chris came over to visit for a minute, Shannon and I ended up laying on the floor in Blakely's room with our feet up and Cooper came to join us. Our husbands walked in and laughed at us for using the bench for a foot rest. They took this pic.

Last week we had beautiful weather. We were able to go to the park with Cooper and play, so of course I took my camera and got some pics.
Beautiful weather.

Then last weekend we had a surprise 30th birthday party for my brother Matt. He was completely surprised and I think he had a really good time. :) There were lots of friends and family there, My parents entire house was full of people and kids having a great time together. I can't believe my big brother is 30, I'm not far behind.
The hubs enjoying the party
Matt got these hilarious shorts from his in laws as a joke for his birthday. I begged him to wear them to church Sunday. Oh my!! He didn't of course but I will bust out laughing no matter where he wears them and I have a feeling he will wear them.

Jamie is all partied out!

Here are some pictures of my sister in law (36 weeks) and I (31 weeks) We are getting close!

Cooper and Daddy hanging out.
Last Sunday we went to a birthday party for a friend of ours son. He turned two. It was at a bounce place. I took a few pics of Cooper going down the slide and then me and my best friends went down. We all had a lot of fun.
The birthday boy!

We've been busy and I wanted to post what has been going on with the babies room. But honestly I'm done for the time being. Next week the room will be basically done. I think in about two weeks after our shower I will post final pics of the room. I'm so excited to share it all with you girls!

I need someone to complain to.

Sorry you guys but you are the lucky ones. Along with my family I'm sure they would agree.

I feel like all I've done all weekend is complain. Let me explain myself though...

I had rib pain with Cooper, Yes and some days it was horrible. But nothing like this. 8 more weeks to go and I'm just about to the end of my rope simply because of this horrible rib pain. It sends me into near tears for days on end. This weekend was by far the worst. I put a hot pack on my ribs last night and went to lay down early with pillows under my back to try to help the pain. Its getting darn near unbearable. I'm starting to feel bad because I feel like I can hardly function when its at its worst and my poor husband is obviously annoyed by this. I try not to talk about it and he helps me a ton especially if I'm saying I'm in pain but we just aren't used to this. Like I said its way worse than it was with Cooper's pregnancy. This girl is just getting to big I guess.
I'm just starting to feel helpless and miserable and I don't want to feel this way. I'm a happy person and this is really ruining my mood. :( Ok I'm done complaining I will stop now.

Anyways, I have so much to tell all of you about this past week and weekend. So many great pictures to share and stories. Unfortunately I can't seem to ever upload them all and tell you about them.
Maybe tonight, maybe tomorrow night. I don't know? I will try my hardest to get them done by Wednesday.

Coming up: Last week fun, Baby's room updates, Grandma and Grandpa's this weekend, Uncle Matt's 30th birthday, Cooper's 18 month appointment, Our friend Braden's 2nd birthday.

Lots to update on. See you soon.

Oh my, do I have a pregnant story to tell you guys!

Today I had to take Cooper in for his 18 month check up.
We arrived at the Dr. right on time and I of course had to go to the bathroom (I can't even stand up from a chair without feeling like I might pee my pants). So once we got checked in I rushed to the restroom with Cooper holding my hand like a good boy.
The restrooms at our Pedi are right there in the waiting room with the door facing the open room.
The door knob is one of those that just has a handle that you pull down on to open the door. No twisting involved. The lock is one you push in and when you pull down on the handle it automatically unlocks the door. Is anyone seeing where I'm going with this.

Let me set the scene now that you know what I'm seeing once I get in the restroom.

Cooper is nicely standing next to me, With his largely prego, no control over her bladder about to pee my pants mama. I struggle to get the damn belly band attached to my jeans down so I can go. I won't sit becauseEWWW public restroom people!
I start to hover and go to the restroom (sorry if TMI). Right about this point, Cooper starts to dart to to the door eyeing that door knob, I thought I could grab his hand before he ran off but unfortunately the little love is just too dang fast for me these days. I notice what he's about to do and in mid stream have to stop the urine. Do you have any idea how difficult this is when your 31 weeks pregnant and have a hard time holding your bladder as it is???? Well let me just tell you, it was no picnic in the park. Luckily I didn't pee on myself and I made it just in time to catch Cooper from pushing open the door. Yes its a push open door (I'm guessing because its a pediatricians office and its supposed to be kid friendly and easy to get in and out of)? Either way, I nearly lost it with my pants at my ankles, nakedprego belly poking out and barely able to hold my pee rushing to stop him from revealing me in all my glory to everyone in the waiting room.
It was a blast. I was literally out of breath from trying to run to catch him, or else the entire waiting room would have gotten a show that was not quite PG-13.
I truly dodged quite the embarrassing moment. I would have absolutely been mortified if he had swung that door open. OH MY GOSH!!!

It was really actually funny, but at the time I was so out of breath and scared out of my mind that I didn't see the humor.

I know all of you moms out there or prego girls can completely understand about the always having to go to the restroom issue. So I assumed you'd get a kick out of this story. I just had to share.

I've been meaning to do a post on all the things going on last week but haven't gotten the chance. I promise I will soon. I have so many good pictures and even a video to share. Now I actually need to do it!

I can say that I've been having severe rib pain this past week. This happened with Cooper but yesterday I was in such pain I could barely sit at my desk at work. I nearly cried out of agony. This is just not normal for me at all. More on that in my next post though.
